     Pvt Jay Berry, Company E 23 Inf. SC Volunteers, The Tramp Bde., surrendered at Appomattox.

     Pvt Clinton Berry, Company D, 7th Inf Bn. SC Senior Reserves.  Activated to construct and man the Florence Stockade.  Discharged at Bentonville, NC March 1865.

     Pvt James Green Price, Company D 12th Inf. Regt, SC Volunteers, Died in Richmond of wounds received at Gettysburg.

     Pvt Steven Price, Company H 8th Inf. Regt Reserves, 1st Corps, 4 Nov 1861 to 3 Feb 1863.

     Pvt William Walling enlisted 19 Mar 1862 in Orangeburg in Company C 2nd SC Artillery, formerly Lamar,s Bn SC Arty also known as 1st SC Arty. 1 Nov 1863 shown as Detached in commissary duty to end of war for transport of forage down the Edisto River.

     Pvt John McGovern enlisted in Company K, 16th SC Inf.  Was captured at the Battle of Franklin, Tenn. and shipped to Camp Douglas, Ill. POW Camp.  Released in July 1865.

     Pvt Pete McGovern enlisted 7 Apr 1862 in Company E, 1st SC Inf. Regt.  Was killed 8 Sept 1863 at Fort Moultrie, SC by a naval bombardment from the Union monitor ship Weehawken.

     Capt. Charles M Tuggle H Company 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf.  Died of fever at Johnson's Island POW Camp, Ohio 6 Nov 1863 and buried there in grave #2.

     Pvt Woodard Tuggle enlisted 24 Sept 1861 in the 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf.  Captured at Jericho Ford, Va. 24 May 1864.  Released at Elmira, NY 29 May 1865.

     Pvt Manning J Tuggle enlisted 24 Sept 1861 in Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf.  Captured at Jericho Ford, Va 24 May 1864.  Sent from Elmira, NY to James River, Va for exchange March 2 1865.
     Pvt Sanford Tuggle was in Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf. and was captured at Jericho Ford, Va 24 May 1864.  Released from Elmira, NY 29 May 1865.  ( Charles, Woodard Manning and Sanford were brothers)

     1st Corporal Adam G Tuggle enlisted 24 Sept 1861 in Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf.  He was wounded at Spotsylvania, Va 12 May 1864 and captured at Jericho Ford, Va 24 May 1864.  Released 16 June 1865.

     Pvt Anderson G. Tuggle enlisted 24 Sept 1861 Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf.

     3rd Sgt George M Tuggle enlisted 24 Sept 1861 Company H 35th Georgia Volunteer Inf captured at Jericho Ford, Va 24 May 1864.  Released Point Lookout, Md 21 June 1865.

     Pvt Henry H Tuggle 24 Sept 1861 Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf and was killed at Seven Pines, Va 31 May 1862.

     Pvt Russel A Tuggle 24 Sept 1861 Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf died of disease while on furlough at home 20 Nov 1862.

     Pvt W. H. Tuggle enlisted June 1861 Company H 35th Regt Georgia Volunteer Inf and surrendered Appomattox, Va 9 April 1865.

     Pvt Charles M Tuggle died at Point Lookout Oct 1864 and is buried there.
( the 11 Tuggles are 2 groups of 7 brothers and 4 brothers  all cousins in the same unit with 8 enlisting on the same day and 5 captured at the same time.)

     Pvt Joseph W Tuggle enlisted 23 Sept 1862 in Dean's Bde 56th Alabama Partisan Rangers.  He was wounded in a cornfield in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

     Pvt Edward H Tuggle enlisted July 1862 in Company C Calvary which later became 13th Bn Alabama Partisan Rangers and in 1863 it became the 56th Alabama Cavalry.

     Urban David Segrest 5th Regt SC Cavalry.  He was wounded and taken prisoner at the battle of Howes Shop, Va.  He died at Lincoln General Hospital Washington DC and is buried in Arlington Cemetery.

     George Washington Wilson 17th SC Inf Regt.  He was a Section Master for the SC railroad in Orangeburg and was exempt from service but enlisted anyway on Sept 1, 1864.

     Pvt George Jefferson Fogle Co F 2nd SC Reg Arty.  He was hit by a train at the station returning to duty and killed 8 May 1862.

     Pvt Gabriel Fogle 1st Regt Hagood's SC Inf.  He died Feb 1863 in Petersburg Hospital of Typhoid and Pneumonia.

     Pvt William Daniel Fogle Co H Hampton's Legion.  He was left for dead on the battlefield after being severely wounded.  When he was taken to the hospital they could not operate on him but he survived but suffered greatly from his wound until his death in 1918.

     Pvt George Henry Fogle Co L 2nd Regt SC Arty.  Enlisted in Orangeburg 26 Feb 1863 and was taken prisoner 11 March 1865 at Fayetteville, NC.  He was taken to Point Lookout, Ml and died 3 May 1865 of disease and buried in grave #1649.
